Project Overview:

Compound Recordings is a professional recording facility in the Santa Cruz Mountains, located in Ben Lomond, California. They specialize in recording rock, punk, hardcore and indie bands, as well as anything you can lay down on tape. The goal was to create a graphic design interface that appeals to bands, musicians and artists of every type and sound, while showcasing the high quality equipment the studio uses.

We put together a simple website for them several years ago, and their growth over the years warranted a full website redesign and new backend content management system (CMS). We created a slick new Web 2.0 style design for the front end of the site, still making sure to incorporate an edgy side to show their roots.

The backend CMS has been fully revamped and upgraded to give them the ability to update the whole site themselves, quickly and easily, using a web browser. They've got mulitple photo galleries, a client calendar with scheduling, a full discography and more.
